I can't even begin to explain how much I love this band.
The new album & October 4 can't come soon enough!

(Hey Monday and Stereo Skyline can get lost in the post or something.)

;)

Ask me anything you want, I shall answer honestly. Make it interesting!

I think my icon proves I have officially lost it.

P.S. I kind of migrated to tumblr, sorry.

This could work, right?

Travel down to Salisbury, YMA6 gig.
Travel down to London. Hang for the rest of the day.
HMV Forum gig the next day.
Rush back up to Glasgow for TBS the next day.
Then 5 or 6 Winch House gigs, starting a couple of days later.

...I could totally do all that with £120? |:

Seriously true.

If there is one person or more on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.

Hey, guys...

I miss Every Avenue. :( I'm really rather fond of them, musically and as people.

Shame they're gonna be stuck with a load of FTSK teenies. ;)

Freak Out is possibly one of my favourite songs ever, in the history of all that is holy.

You go addz dem, yeeeees?

Oh and in other news. Someone please, please teach Chris how to pronounce Glasgow? I mean, it's not like we haven't been over it with him. Many times. Pfft.

Past week or so has been awesome. I went down to London last thursday-saturday to see Fall Out Boy, which was completely fucking incredible. Though I have to say, I missed the friendliness of Glasgow crowds - there wasn't the same feeling of comradeship, even in the queue. The boys played very well though, as did Kids In Glass Houses. I won't even start on Hey Monday...

Then, on Monday, was the YMA6 gig. Met up with some people I know from other gigs, and had quite the fun time in the queue. We also met the boys in The Spill Canvas, who were really lovely. Managed to get second row, and stayed there for the rest of the gig (just.) Emarosa were shit. I think I'm one of the few people who would say that, but I'm more interested in the music and stage presence by how much the singer points at the crowd and headbangs. TSC were awesome, though the crowd didn't react to them as much as I would have expected. Then YMA6 - as always, they took my breath away. There are only two bands who make me feel exhilarated when I see their live show, like my heart swells up in my chest and I just can't stop smiling. That would be You Me At Six and Elliot Minor. Had a nice little moment with Josh when I knew all the words to the at the time unreleased b-side, haha. Shame about the girls in front of me, on the barrier, who obviously didn't go to many gigs. You're going to have people pushing against you, sorry. Deal with it and be grateful you have room in front of you to breathe.
Was a bit gutted that we couldn't hang around to speak to the band. I kind of had a whole thing planned out in my head that I wanted to say to them, ha. How sad. Next time, eh? (Oh, and they "exclusively" revealed to us that they're playing T In The Park, but I'm not allowed to go until next year, pfffffft.) And I'll be completely honest, I did rather enjoy the leg show Josh put on. ;)

On Friday I'm going to see a band called The Last Republic (who are really fucking good, by the way) at Studio 24 because my friend's....sister's....boyfriend drums in one of the support bands, A Torn Mind. Should be a good night, and it'll be the first gig in a long time where I'm not worrying about getting barrier, haha.
Then I hope, I'm going to see Glamour of the Kill. I really love them, it all just depends on funds. I particularly want to go so I can see Nicola again, which would be great.

All in all, I'm actually pretty happy right now. (: All I need is Summer to come and I'm all set. Oh, and for my hair to grow quicker would be nice.

How are YOU?

I have something cooking.

Preach electric to a microphone stand.

Don't think you're special just because you have a story.

We all do.

I REALLY hope Jacks Mannequin are planning on adding more UK dates.

A long, rambling post on how amazing Saturday was still to come. When I can be arsed. ;)

Guess what I got round to watching. :D

Tomrrow is gonna be epic.

Thanks to you lot...

My pre-order FAD package arrived today.

Exactly two months after it was supposed to...

BUT MY HOODIE'S DAMN SEXY TBH.

There's so much I want to say. I just don't know how to put it into words while doing it justice.

I did not plan on feeling like this.
I did not want to feel like this.
I tried not to feel like this.

But I'm falling faster than ever before. And I fucking love it.
